Our Produce

We source beautiful fresh ingredients from local markets and even grow our own range of herbs from our herb garden located next to the restaurant. We also have a private fruit and veg grove just down the road at Calamvale which we source from when in season. We also pride ourselves on our fresh Tasmanian oysters and tender meat from Emerald Valley Meats.

Our History

Currently celebrating our 25rd year in operation the restaurant has been a part of many birthdays, celebrations and special events for the locals across south Brisbane. Rhys' Restaurant is still run by the same family who built the restaurant in 1991. The restaurant has always been known for offering great quality meals at affordable prices.

Today

23 years after opening and Rhys' Restaurant is still going strong, still offering a range of great fresh food and friendly service. While owner Diane now enjoys semi retirement she can still be spotted around the restaurant a few days a week, these days her son Wade is now running the restaurant who has been enjoying the job for almost 10 years.

The Restaurant is still the perfect spot for a casual night out for dinner or for that special occasion with the warm classic styling the restaurant is known for.
